Departure Amsterdam – Cochin (Kerala)
Today you depart from Amsterdam with your booked flight from Amsterdam to Cochin, in the South Indian state of Kerala. On the day of departure, you should check in at Schiphol Airport at least 3-4 hours before your international flight from Amsterdam to Cochin with a stopover in Abu Dhabi. For current departure, arrival times, and check-in counter information, you can consult the digital screens of Schiphol in the departure halls.

Upon arrival at Kochi International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will guide you to the hotel and assist with check-in formalities.
Background Information: Cochin
The port of Cochin is commonly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea and has one of the world's most attractive and natural harbors. Cochin is famous for spices, silk, ivory, and sandalwood. It has a traditionally rich heritage while also being one of the fastest-growing and modern cities in India. It is very easy to be enchanted by the magic of Cochin, and it is the beauty and relatively good infrastructure that make Cochin the ideal vacation destination. Cochin, or Kochi as it is now called, offers visitors palaces, museums, old churches, and cool backwaters; palm-lined lagoons, beaches, and the conveniences of a modern metro city.
Cochin City Tour
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up for a city tour of Cochin. In the early evening, you will visit a Kathakali dance performance.
Background Information
Kathakali: Kathakali is a classical dance form that depicts Indian epics (Ramayana and Mahabharata). The dancers' costumes are very colorful and elaborate. Dancers with painted faces portray the different characters of the ancient epics. The Kathakali dancers portray many facial expressions and articulate body movements.
St. Francis Church: St. Francis Church was built in 1503 by Europeans. St. Francis Church is the oldest European church in India. Portuguese trader Vasco da Gama died in Kochi during his third visit to Kerala. Initially, his body was buried in this church, but after a few years, his remains were transferred to Portugal. Despite this, the place where he was buried is marked within the church.
Fort Kochi Beach: Fort Kochi Beach is an ideal location to relax in a quiet and peaceful way. This beach happens to be one of the favorite tourist spots in Kerala. The sunset view with the Chinese fishing nets and sailboats in the background is a fine experience. Along the coastline, many European-style bungalows can be seen.
Chinese Fishing Nets: The very popular tourist attraction in Cochin harbor are the Chinese fishing nets. These fishing nets are unique of their kind and are only found in India. The fishing nets were popularized in Cochin harbor by traders from the court of Chinese ruler Kublai Khan.

The hill town of Munnar, named as one of the most beautiful places in Kerala and India, is worth a visit. The hill town, nestled in the lush lap of the Western Ghats, is surrounded by rolling hills covered with tea plantations. The town was inhabited in the era of the British Raj and there are many remnants from that period in the mansions, churches, and the charming town.

In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up for a tea plantation tour and tea tasting and the local market in Munnar. Afterwards, you will be taken to your hotel accommodation and you have the rest of the day free.

In the morning after breakfast, you travel on to Periyar. Upon arrival in Periyar, you have the rest of the day free.
Background Information: Periyar
Periyar is one of the most popular national parks in South India, but nowadays it is better known for its serene atmosphere than for wildlife sightings. The unique character of the sanctuary extends around the banks of a huge artificial lake that was created a century ago by damming the Periyar River. The sanctuary is known for Tigers. It has a wide range of animals including elephants, bison, macaque leopards, jungle cats, wild dogs, mouse deer, gaur, sambar deer, and barking deer. The sanctuary is home to a great variety of rich flora and rare fauna. About 700 elephants roam in the forest and are usually seen on the banks of Periyar Lake.
Boat Trip Periyar - Spice Plantation & Kalaripayattu Show
In the morning after a relaxing night's rest and a delicious breakfast, you take a boat trip through the Periyar Lake. The best way to experience the lush flora and fauna of Periyar is to be brought in the early morning for a boat trip over the Periyar Lake. Most activities take place around the lake. About 700 elephants roam in the forest and are usually seen on the banks of Periyar Lake. Later in the day, the guide picks you up at the hotel for a tour to the nearby herb plantation. Cinnamon and ginger, pepper and cardamom and various other herbs that were grown on the Periyar hill made it nature's flavor factory in the 14th century. You also enjoy a wonderful Kalaripayattu show.
Road Trip Periyar - Alleppey • Houseboat Alleppey Backwaters Experience
Then you travel on to Alleppey and board a deluxe houseboat, one of the highlights of Kerala, namely a night on board a traditional Kerala houseboat. These rice boats or 'Kettuvallams' sail along the shallow lakes with palm trees and narrow canals. The houseboat takes you through the villages that are built on narrow strips of land, where it moors for a visit to the local markets, or to view the unique works of the artisans engaged in the age-old tradition of boat making. These houseboats offer one or two small cabins with a small sitting area and a crew of 2 staff members and a chef. The Houseboats serve authentic Keralese dishes. The overnight stay on the Houseboat is a special experience.

International Flight Cochin – Bangkok
Today you will be taken to Cochin airport for your international flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel accommodation in Bangkok. The rest of the day you have free.
City Tour Bangkok Temple Tour & Klong Boat Tour
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up around 08:30. Visit two of the most important sights of Bangkok: the reclining Buddha in Wat Pho is a gigantic reclining Buddha, covered with gold leaf. The Grand Palace is a 'must see' for every visitor. The Grand Palace is located close to the banks of the Chao Phraya River and is the perfect example of an old Siamese court. Within the complex is the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Pra Kaew). Lunch will be served in a Thai restaurant. Board a traditional boat and sail over the Chao Phraya River (the river of kings) and on through the Klong (canals) of Thonburi. You get the chance to observe and photograph the serene family homes and temples along the waterways, which gave the city the name 'Venice of the East'. You also pay a visit to one of the most photographed sights in Bangkok, the Wat Arun. The majestic sanctuary has a 76-meter high pagoda. It is decorated with glazed ceramic pieces that reflect the rising sun and gave the temple its name.
Day Trip Kanchanaburi from Bangkok
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up for an exciting adventure with elephants. Below is a schedule of the day: 08:00 pick up at hotel and transfer to Elephants World Kanchanaburi. Half-day program (afternoon visit - including lunch, private transfer, participation in activity). 11:30 Introduction & Safety Rules + including Lunch buffet. 12:30 Enter the park and meet the elephants, feed them some watermelon and pumpkins! 12:50 Help prepare food for the older elephants. Activities may vary each day, for example, mowing grass, making sticky rice, or banana grass balls. 13:45 Join or observe the elephants taking a mud bath (elephant spa!). 14:00 Take the elephants to the river for a bath. 14:45 Grab a cold drink and take a shower (towels are provided by Elephants World). 15:00 Say goodbye to the elephants. Then you will be taken back to your hotel accommodation in Bangkok.
Bangkok - Floating Market – Pattaya
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up to discover what Bangkok used to look like. For that, you travel about 100 km outside Bangkok to the Damnoen Saduak floating market with its many colors, flavors, and exotic scents. Start with a nice ride on a narrow longtail boat, along riverside villages and fruit plantations, before entering the lively market. Along the way and on the colorful market on the water, there are many photo moments. Afterwards, you travel on to Pattaya.
Day Trip Coral Island from Pattaya
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up and transported to the pier to board the speedboat for a wonderful day on the water to Coral Island. Coral Island is also known as Kho Larn. Upon arrival at Coral Island, you have the rest of the day free to relax on the sandy beaches or take a dip in the turquoise blue water. For the more adventurous people who want to indulge in parasailing, water scooters, or snorkeling, they can participate in this for an additional fee. You enjoy a delicious lunch that is included. In the afternoon, you sail back to the Pattaya pier. Then you will be taken back to your hotel accommodation.
International Flight Bangkok – Bali
Today you will be taken to Bangkok airport for your international flight to Bali. Upon arrival in Bali, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel accommodation in Seminyak Bali. The rest of the day you have free.
